This was the first show of the 2014 summer season. I had been an associate lighting designer on 2 previous productions of this show with this particular set. I have had a long time association with Pittsburgh CLO and this would be the first summer season i would design myself. Jeffrey Small, who has been the associate and a former student, would stay on for the summer to create with me. The musical is a direct take off of the movie classic. The company performs in the Benedum Center. The company produces 6 musicals over 9 weeks. This summer there were 5 productions and one tour was presented.
